Nothing is better than when a great idea is reinforced by amazing details. The Steinlager Beer commercials (by Droga 5) are a perfect example of this mentality. This is a perfect example of a simple, dry sense of humor approach to an ad was pulled off brilliantly. Enjoy.

AD OF THE DAY!!!

It's memorable when an ad makes a strong emotional connection with you. I haven't had that in a quite awhile until I stumbled upon the Johnnie Walker ad "Human" created by BBH London in 2000. Lately I've been hearing Social Media is the new age and all traditional is dead. Although I do believe that social is an incredibly important facet to the future of advertising, at the moment its all tactical and rarely a big idea in and of itself. I think there always has been and will be a place for a great campaign idea and beautiful brand ads. This advertisement reminded me of just that. Enjoy.
